BioTechQuest Engages Students in Interactive Biotechnology Learning
On January 29, 2024, Abu Dhabi University’s College of Health Sciences hosted BioTechQuest, an engaging event
designed to make biotechnology concepts accessible and enjoyable for students. Led by Dr. Tania Tahtouh, Assistant
Professor of Biomedical Sciences, the event featured interactive games, quizzes, and team-based activities that
transformed complex scientific ideas into fun, hands-on experiences. Participants explored various biotech techniques,
fostering curiosity and collaboration among students. The initiative aimed to inspire the next generation of scientists
by demonstrating that learning science can be both educational and entertaining.
ADU and SEHA Host Seminar on Health Education in Healthcare Settings
On May 8, 2025, Abu Dhabi University’s College of Health Sciences, in collaboration with SEHA, organized an
educational seminar featuring Ms. Souheila AliHassan. The seminar focused on the pivotal role of health education
in healthcare environments, emphasizing how structured programs can enhance public health awareness, influence
patient behavior, and improve quality of life. Dr. Nisreen Alwan played a key role in organizing and supporting the
event, which attracted healthcare professionals, students, and community members committed to advancing health
promotion initiatives.
