ADU Students Excel at Inter-College Environmental Public Speaking Competition
On November 28, 2024, a team from Abu Dhabi University’s College of Health Sciences achieved sixth place among
20 teams at the Inter-College Environmental Public Speaking Competition. Guided by Dr. Rahaf Ajaj, the students -
Thanmayaa Ganeshamoorthy, Rameen Sher, and Lubna Navas - delivered a compelling presentation on “Benevolence
of Oceans: Comprehending Planetary Security.” Their performance showcased strong research, teamwork, and a
commitment to environmental sustainability.
Future Lab Operator Program Orientation Equips Students for Innovation
On November 8, 2024, Abu Dhabi University’s College of Health Sciences hosted the Future Lab Operator Program
Orientation, organized by Dr. Nermin Eissa, Chair of the Biomedical Sciences Department. The event featured
guest speaker Mohamed Taj Eldeen, who provided insights into advanced laboratory technologies and operations.
The program aimed to equip students with practical skills and knowledge essential for modern medical laboratory
environments, fostering readiness for careers in the healthcare sector.
