2nd International Conference on Global Sustainable Development (ICGSD 2025)
in Dubai:

Abu Dhabi University hosted the 2nd International Conference on Global Sustainable Development (ICGSD 2025)
at its Dubai campus on May 23–24, 2025, under the patronage of Chancellor Prof. Ghassan Aouad. Organized by
Dr. Asiya Nazir in collaboration with the Research Department and the College of Health Sciences, the conference
centered on the theme “Innovating Sustainability for Health, Business, and Environmental Solutions.” It featured
keynote addresses from Eng. Mariam Bunfour of Dubai Police and Dr. Karim Houni of Emirates Global Aluminium,
alongside panel discussions moderated by Dr. Haleama Al Sabbah, Dr. Hatem Abushammala, and Dr. Nisreen Alwan.
The event included multidisciplinary tracks chaired by faculty members such as Dr. Nermin Eissa, Dr. Abdulmajeed
Almutary, Dr. Tania Tahtouh, and Dr. Rahaf Ajaj, highlighting ADU’s commitment to advancing sustainability research
and fostering global collaboration.
