        ADU 10  MATH CONTEST

        The College of Arts and Sciences at Abu Dhabi University (ADU) was pleased to hold the eleventh Math
        Competition on March 20, 2023, demonstrating the university’s dedication to honoring students’ exceptional
        abilities, skills, and talents. This eagerly awaited occasion gave students a rare chance to delve into the
        fascinating field of mathematics, sharpen their analytical skills, and tackle challenging mathematical issues.
        Participants were given the opportunity to use their mathematical knowledge and analytical skills during
        the Math Competition’s two rounds, which focused on xxx. This competition was created by ADU to assist
        students in grades 11 and 12, prepare them for the demands of a university-level education by exposing
        them to creative problem-solving challenges.

        ADU Chancellor Professor Ghassan Aouad, ADU Provost Professor Thomas Hochstettler, ADU College
        of Arts and Sciences Dean Dr. Sreethi Nair, and ADU Director of Al Ain Campus Dr. Mohammad Fteiha
        all attended the event as distinguished guests and prominent academic leaders. Over 380 national high
        school students from 80 national schools participated in the Math Contest, competing in 40 teams in a
        setting that was intellectually engaging. The competition highlighted the contestants’ commitment and
        zeal, emphasizing their love of mathematics and problem-solving.- The teams presented their solutions to
        the distinguished jury members and ecstatic spectators after thorough thought. The competition winners
        were announced with great pleasure. Yasser Mohammad Abbas and Nanda Venugopal from Merryland
        International School won first prize, showcasing their remarkable mathematics skills. Nishant Sood and
        Aahan Kandoth from Sharjah English School earned second place for their remarkable problem-solving
        abilities. Aman Hamidsha and Youssef Mohamed Aly from Merryland International School received third
        place honors in recognition of their commendable accomplishments.
