        SPEAKING CONTEST:

The university auditorium was buzzing with excitement as freshmen students arrived for their orientation
during their first and second weeks between 21st of February and 2nd of March. The first part of orientation
was all about getting to know the university system, services, and activities.

Students attended welcome addresses from the campus director and other administrators, learned about
the university’s academic programs, and got information about student life, including housing, dining,
and extracurricular activities. They also met with their peer mentor, professors and advisors, toured the
campus, and participated in games and activities to help them get to know each other. The second part of
orientation was a more festive affair. The Marhabteyn event was a celebration of the freshmen’s arrival at
the university. There were games and activities, music and singing, prizes and giveaways, and refreshments
and snacks. Students had a chance to let loose and have some fun, and they also got to know their fellow
students better. The orientation was a great way to welcome freshmen to the university and help them get
started on their college journey. The two weeks were fun and informative, communicating key information
to help freshmen students settle into their new lives as undergraduate students with tips on how to balance
academics with a thriving campus life.
