Creativity
The ASC helps nurture not just your academic prowess but also works with you to enhance your creative abilities.
These are some of them.
Why Some Students Have Issues With Academics
Students encounter seven common issues which are: low motivation, distraction, issues with concentrating, difficulty in
memorizing facts and figures, dislike of the subject and insufficient resources. The main reasons for these problems are
finding the subject difficult and boring, poor time management, medical issues, lack of sleep and nerves about getting
low grades. Students can overcome these problems with the right measures. First and foremost, students need to be
positive. Also, many studies have proven that following a healthy diet and exercising contribute to reducing stress,
increasing focus, and strengthening memory. In addition, finding a quiet place such as a library or any space that is free
of distractions helps you focus. Finally, use different learning tools and methods to keep your workflow interesting and
engaging. This way the process is fun despite the workload.

Have A Routine
How do you get yourself motivated and trick yourself into being productive? Routine! No matter how lazy and
unmotivated you are, there are still things in your day that you should do no matter what; for example, you wake up
and brush your teeth every morning (unless you’re gross) without thinking, “Why am I doing this?” It is more like, “Oh
yeah, it is morning, and I am going to brush my teeth!” So, channel the same energy for studying and attending classes.
It is not so much thinking about it like a choice, but rather a routine. You should go to class simply because it is what you
do in the mornings, and that is how a routine is. So, plan out your college schedule like a rhythm that you can fall into
and do without really having to think about why you are doing it because it is much easier to go through the motions
than to set the motions every single day.

Should Students Study Foreign Languages At University?
Studying a foreign language at the university is a sure way of creating a competitive advantage for yourself in the
job market and increasing your career opportunities and choices. Thinking beyond the basic cognitive and social
benefits that learning a foreign language holds, you will be able to enhance your communication skills suited for a
diverse, multi-cultural work environment. Effective communication is one of the most important soft skills employers
are seeking. Multilingual communication breaks down barriers between people and instills trust and appreciation of
cultural diversity. Therefore, studying a foreign language at the university is the ideal opportunity for you to increase
your employability and broaden your worldview and ensure future success.

My Dream Job
When talking about a dream job, some people already know what they want to do right from their childhood. Some
realize their dream a little bit later than others, and that is alright. A dream job is not one size fits all, so every person
has a unique and profound journey in realizing and achieving their dreams. When I was young, I dreamt of becoming
a doctor; however, as I got older, I found out that I was not that passionate about the medical field, so I realized that
passions change. One day, after embarking on a plane en route to my home country, it dawned on me that I wanted to
be able to bring people home safely to their loved ones and so began my ambition to become a pilot. It is ironic because
I am afraid of heights, so I thought there is no way I will be able to conquer the skies, but during my doubts, I was
fortunate enough to find a quote by Dr. Steve Maraboli who said, “Don’t let other people’s opinions distort your reality,
be true to yourself, and be bold in pursuing your dreams.” Do not let even your opinion of yourself distort reality, for the
greatest limitations are the ones we make in our minds.
