Tutors

As a freshman starting my university experience online, I was not only nervous but worried
that I would not get the same involvement and opportunities that I would get face to face.
However, this feeling quickly vanished when I was asked to be a tutor and got involved with
the Academic Success Center. I am grateful for this opportunity because I was able to grow
as a student and as a person. This experience helped me improve both my communication
and social skills since I interacted with students whom I had never met or seen before. I then,
slowly developed a relationship with each of the students and thanks to the back and forth
communication which I’m most grateful for. I hope I can be of further assistance to my peers
in the future with the help of ASC.
