As the chair of the language department at ADU, it is with great pleasure and
enthusiasm that I extend a warm greeting to each and every one of you. I am eagerly
anticipating the amazing trip that lies ahead as we begin a new academic year. The
Language Department is a thriving and dynamic community that honors the strength
and allure of language. You have made the decision to start a magnificent journey of
linguistic study and cultural discovery, regardless of whether you have a passion for
English, Chinese, French, Italian, or any other language offered by our department.
