Welcome
Messages
I congratulate you on enrolling at Abu Dhabi University on behalf of the Student
Affairs Department. You are beginning a time that will be equally exciting and thrilling,
during which your knowledge, contacts, perspectives, and achievements will grow.
We in Student Affairs continuously endeavor to match that level of excitement in our
students in order to deliver the best possible service on ADU campuses with such
a wide range of student interests. You will always find SA supporting and praising
college students in all their academic paths- attending classes, reading and studying,
maintaining friendships, running for office, participating in extracurricular activities,
playing a variety of sports, volunteering for good causes, and even holding down a full-
time job. We encourage you to seek engagement in all college activities and events.
Reach out to your peers. Your classmates, with whom you share a lot of interests, are
definitely your biggest source of support. Additionally, utilize ADU’s facilities including
the gym, clubs, library, and ASC.
Mr. Sabri Abbas
Senior Manager of Student Affairs
On behalf of the Admission & Registration Office, I welcome all of you who have
chosen ADU as your place of study. We are happy to have you here and are devoted
to helping you in any way we can while you pursue your academic goals. The first and
most important pieces of advice for individuals who are new to college are to attend
classes and participate completely in all activities. It’s also essential to make use of the
resources that are offered, such as academic advice, tutoring, and counseling, if you
need help. Finally, participating in extracurricular activities will improve your overall
university experience by fostering your ability to lead others, establish new friends,
and develop leadership abilities.
Mr. Sameer Najib
Senior Admission & Registration Manager
As a college finance officer, I would like to welcome you all and provide you with advice
on how to manage your finances effectively and be aware of your financial obligations.
Here are some pieces of advice that I would like to share with all students. Firstly, stay
on top of payment deadlines. Make sure to keep track of important dates and deadlines
related to tuition fees and other payments. If you are unable to pay in full, consider
opting for a payment plan to help spread out the costs. Secondly, apply for scholarships
and sponsorships. These are excellent ways to cover your college expenses. Thirdly,
work hard to maintain a good GPA which is both important for academic success, and
can make you eligible for various scholarships and financial aid programs. Fourthly,
understand the refund policy as sometimes circumstances change, and you may need
to drop a course. It is also advised to stay active on Outlook and Teams to keep track
of important announcements and updates from the college.
