 ASC Programs
In the Academic Success Center “ASC”, students are more than welcomed and encouraged to join
one of our following programs listed below:
 Peer Mentoring
Provides complete assistance to freshmen students regarding all issues they face starting from the
very first day at the university, so they can be aware of all their rights and duties. The Peer Mentor
offers important tips to improve the university life experience, guides freshmen students regarding
registering for courses, paying tuition fees online, talking to academic advisors, and so on.
 Peer Tutoring
The Peer Tutoring program is the solution to student academic improvement. It is a program that
allows students to volunteer their time to support the students with their assignments, projects,
and exam preparations. The tutoring program also allows the students to practice and develop
professional skills that help them along their careers.
 Course Assistants
Course Assistants are Peer Tutors that are assigned to a specific course to support the students
with it. If a Peer Tutor is with the program for 1 semester, has completed 15 tutoring hours, and
shows excellent work in it, then they are eligible to become course assistants.
