Celebrating Diversity

at the International Day Event

On February 29th, 2024, the world came together in a celebration of diversity at the International
Day Event hosted by Abu Dhabi University’s Al Ain Campus and organized by the Student Affairs
Department and various student clubs. Students from various nationalities participated, showcas-

ing their rich heritage and culture, fostering cross-cultural understanding and unity.
The highlight of the event was a spir-
ited competition, where each par-
ticipating country was judged on
the authenticity and presentation
of their food, traditional dress, and
overall setup. This competition
added an exciting and competitive
edge to the festivities, emphasizing
the unique qualities that make each
culture special.
The International Day Event served
as a vibrant platform for cultural ex-
change, bringing people together to
appreciate and embrace the global
tapestry of traditions. It was a day of
unity and celebration, reflecting the diverse and inclusive spirit of our university community.
