Celebrates the Month of Reading with

“A Book Holds a House of Gold

Competition”

Abu Dhabi University’s Al Ain
Campus organized the “A Book
Holds a House of Gold” event for
high school students in Al Ain City
to commemorate the Month of
Reading.
The event aimed to promote a cul-
ture of reading among high school
students by providing engaging and
interactive activities centered
around literature. Through these
competitions, students not only
enhanced their comprehension and communication skills but also developed a deeper appreciation
for the power of storytelling. The event featured two main competitions: "Read a Book and Sum-
marize in a Video" and "Design a Bookmark".

Celebrating the success of the first "A Book Holds a House of Gold Competition" at the Al Ain cam-
pus, students in groups of three from 14 schools competed for great prizes. The winning teams
were as follows:
“Read a Book and Summarize in a Video” Competition
 1st Place: Al Ain Juniors School
 2nd Place: Khaled Bin Al Waleed School
 3rd Place: Al Ittihad Private School
“Design a Bookmark” Competition
 1st Place: United Private School
 2nd Place: Al Ittihad Private School & Al Ain Juniors School
 3rd Place: Emirates Private School
