Sports and Wellness Officer
I have more than one motto, “Deeds, not words
(Acta, non verba)!” and “Seize the day (Carpe diem)!”.
These words serve as my mottos since they help
me maintain continual concentration and rise to
any challenge, no matter what the situation. I’m
at my current occupation due to my unwavering
enthusiasm for sports and sports development
and my two mottos are the only things that have
gotten me to where I am. My goal in life is to have
health, constant progress and balance in every-
thing. If I were to say something to ADU students,
I suggest they follow my mottos. To stay focused
and positive in all circumstances no matter what
life throws at you.
Dana Ghazi Saleh
Senior Manager of Employability
and Alumni Relations
My motto is “Vision without an action is a dream.”
We can’t always prepare and plan for everything.
Sometimes, we need to start implementing and
modify as we go along. My goal has always been
to empower lives through education and I believe
I do this every day when I support students in
their transition to the workplace. To the students,
I would say that university is not just about going
to classes. Continue stretching your limits, learning
something new every day, making connections
with new people, and challenging yourself. Also, get
involved with the Student Affairs activities which
will help you develop skills that you’ll need in the
workplace once you graduate.
