Dubai International Food Safety Conference:

Dr. Nisreen Alwan, Associate Dean and Associate Professor, department of Environmental and Public health
at ADU and Dr. Hussein Hassan presented their joint research work on “Exposure to toxic metals from the
consumption of rice in Lebanon and UAE at Dubai International Food Safety Conference.

Precision Medicine Exhibition and Summit International:

Top researchers, clinicians, industry partners came together to share their knowledge and expertise in
highlighting the future and crucial role of precision and preventive medicine in uplifting human health. Dr.
Reham Kotb, Chair of the Environmental and Public Health Department, participated as a speaker at this
prestigious event. ADU faculty and students attended the event to gain updated knowledge on precision
medicine inititaives
