Flash Fiction Writing Competition in English and Arabic was held to celebrate UAE’s Next 50 Years on October 29 th

Prompt for the competition:
UAE’s first astronaut Ali has landed on
the moon with a mission to spend 10
days there. He has potatoes to grow and
food to sustain himself for 10 days. Soon,
Ali finds out that there is someone else
already living on the moon.

Math Competition
The online Math Competition that was conducted from October 20 to November 11th, 2020
th
aimed to highlight the importance of mathematical concepts in daily life and create interest
among students to learn mathematics. Twenty-two students from across the university
participated in the competition that consisted of fifteen questions related to Algebra, Geometry
and Pre-Calculus topics. The four winners who secured the highest marks were finalized through a
lucky draw and were awarded with cash prizes.
