“Hello, freshies! I am Elline Flores, a sophomore student majoring in Aviation. I welcome all of you
to ADU. Being in university means new experiences and opportunities to learn and being a part of
something worthwhile. I have been a freshman too, and a bit of advice that I would like to share
is do not be afraid to ask for help as there are a lot of people like the peer mentors who are eager
to help and give you the support that you need in transitioning into this chapter of university life.
Also, make sure to know about the programs offered that may help you on your journey, like the
tutoring program, and get the best out of it. Engage in the ADU community as well by being active in
participating in different events and activities. Good luck on your journey at ADU!”

negativity put you down, and if you have any worries or you need help with anything, feel free to contact
me! So, dear freshmen, welcome to the next stage of your life and most especially, welcome to ADU!”
