Albert Einstein
1879 — 1955
A German theoretical physicist often
regarded as one of the most influential and
prominent scientists of all time. Curiosity, he
argued, was formed because people simply
can’t help but wonder about the secrets of
nature and our everyday lives. Einstein’s the-
ories improved our understanding of gravity,
and provided two theories of relativity, one
of which is widely renown via the mathe-
matical formula E=mc .

Frida Kahlo
1907 — 1954
A famous artist who painted in vivid hues,
influenced by Symbolism, Realism, and
Surrealism. Although Frida wanted to be
a doctor, she spent much of her time with
her father, who was a photographer, and
developed an interest in photography as
well. Living with various chronic health
issues throughout her youth and surviving
a serious bus crash in her teens, Kahlo is
a powerful symbol of how curiosity, pas-
sion and determination can lead to success,
transcending all physical and psychosocial
barriers.
