▪ Are there any additional resources or support that the Subcommittee needs to achieve its
goals more effectively?
A proposal has been made to realign the by-laws of the subcommittee with the institutional
Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (TLA) strategic plan. Additionally, it is recommended to re-
name the Teaching and Learning (T&L) Subcommittee to the Teaching, Learning, and Assessment
Subcommittee.
▪ Based on the progress made so far, what additional advice or insights would you offer to other
institutions or committees that are looking to implement or enhance their own teaching and
learning initiatives?
It is extremely important for any higher education entity to have a well-structured Teaching.
Learning and Assessment strategy that will ensure the adaptation towards the ever-changing dy-
namic of higher education.
