Over the next five years, this actionable plan will focus on implementing these strategic prior-
ities to prepare graduates for success in an increasingly dynamic global landscape. By fostering
academic rigor, inclusivity, and innovation, ADU reaffirms its commitment to excellence in edu-
cation and the holistic development of its students.

               ▪ Have there been any new challenges that the Subcommittee has faced recently? How have
you addressed these issues, and what strategies have been effective in overcoming them?
In fact, we didn’t face any challenges as a committee.

               ▪ How does the Teaching and Learning Strategy align with ADU’s 4 pillars, and what impact does
               it have on these pillars?
The TLA aligns very well to the institutional Strategy and the 4 pillars.

               ▪ Have you received any feedback from students or faculty regarding the new Teaching and
Learning strategies? How has this feedback influenced any adjustments or new directions?

We established a clear and open communication channel from the outset to gather input from
faculty during the initial stages of the planning process. Utilizing this feedback, the task force de-
veloped a comprehensive plan, which was subsequently shared with the faculty for review and
further input. Additionally, the draft plan was circulated through various committees to collect
broader feedback. The collected insights were carefully integrated into the final draft, which was
then presented to the senior leadership team and received approval for implementation.

               ▪ How is the Subcommittee planning to adapt its vision or strategies in response to the evolving
educational landscape or recent trends in teaching and learning?
The strategic plan is centered on shaping the future of education and aligning teaching, learn-
ing, and assessment practices with the rapidly evolving landscape of higher education. To address
this dynamic environment, the strategy emphasizes continuous faculty development, equipping
educators to effectively navigate and adapt to these changes.

               ▪ Can you share any success stories or notable outcomes that have emerged from the Subcom-
               mittee’s recent work?

The involvement of all stakeholders was integral to the creation of a comprehensive institu-
tional Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (TLA) strategic plan.
