Experiential Education –

Focus on internship

The CoHS is keen to provide our students with internship opportunities that help them apply their acquired
theoretical knowledge to real-world situations. Our students spend several weeks during winter and
summer semesters in different industries related to their major. This industry exposure will familiarize
them with industry practices, current trends, and the set of skills needed for their career success.
These include technical skills specific to their field, as well as transferable skills such as communication,
teamwork, problem-solving, emotional intelligence and time management.

We consider internships as a vital component of a well-rounded education, enabling students to bridge
the gap between academia and the professional world while enhancing their employability.

Field Visit-Al Ain Farms

Our EHS students visited Al Ain Farms where they had a tour in the facility. Students have witnessed the whole production
process from farm to loading of products on its way to customers.
