Health and Fitness Fun Festival | 2021

The Health and Fitness Fun Festival-
ACTVET- is the most high-profile health-
focused event in the UAE. The festival brings
together health and fitness enthusiasts,
medical experts, fitness clubs, organizations
focused on healthy living, nutritionists, and
chefs to promote health awareness and
fitness while having fun.

The yearly event is held under the patronage
of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. This
year’s event took place virtually in March
2021 under the theme ‘Prevention is Better
than Cure’.

ADU’s CoHS participated through a virtual
booth and the faculty’s extensive and active
involvement as guest speakers as well as
ADU’s Sports and Wellness Team. They
presented a range of topics, discussing
nutrition, vaccines, chronic diseases, and
environmental and public health subjects in
the era of COVID-19.
