Breast Cancer Awareness Webinar | 2020

To support Breast Cancer Awareness
month, ADU’s CoHS held a webinar to
increase breast cancer awareness. Experts
in oncology and radiology were invited
to speak about various aspects of breast
health and screening. In addition, Ms.
Tina Choueiri, ADU adjunct faculty and
breast cancer survivor, shared her personal
experience of breast cancer to spread a
message of hope. A competition to test the
public’s knowledge of breast cancer issues
was held during the webinar, with winners

HWA Pinning Ceremony | 2020

Following the launch of our ‘Health and
Wellness Ambassador’ Program, the College
of Health Sciences announced its Health and
Wellness Ambassadors for the academic
year 2020-2021 during a pinning ceremony
held at ADU’s campus in Abu Dhabi. The
Program aims to encourage students
to participate in preparing wellness and
health-related activities for ADU and the
UAE community.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Aysha Al
Dhaheri, Section Head - Health Promotion
at the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center,
members of ADU’s senior management,
