Spotlight
Dr. Mohamed El Adly joined Abu Dhabi University in 2008,
having previously spent more than 20 years at Cairo University and the
UAE University. He has a wealth of consulting expertise and has received
professional training in marketing and management. His research
paper, "Measuring the perceived value of malls in a non-Western
context: the case of the UAE," (International Journal of Retail and
Distribution Management, Vol. 43, No. 9, pp. 849–869), won the
Outstanding Paper Award in the Emerald Literati Network Awards for
Excellence 2016 and was the journal sample article for two years. His
main areas of interest are consumer behaviour, retailing, market
segmentation, and hospitality.
