        Meet the ADU Campus

        Chronicle Team

ADU Campus Chronicles is a project of the College of Arts and Sciences Teaching and Learning Development
Committee (TLDC). Through this project, our committee aims to facilitate the sharing of best practices
among ADU faculty and staff to enhance teaching and learning at our esteemed institution.

                                      Editor in Chief:

        Student Success: Our Guiding Star

When Ahmed walked across the stage at graduation, his smile wasn’t just for his ADU degree award
certificate. It was the culmination of support from dedicated faculty, late-night study groups, and the
moment he discovered his passion through a research project. That’s the ADU experience at its best – a
journey where students thrive as both scholars and individuals.

This inaugural edition of the ADU Campus Chronicles celebrates our unwavering commitment to fostering
that transformative environment. From peer mentorship programs which build community, to research
initiatives which empower student discovery, we are constantly exploring new ways to put learners at the
        heart of all we do.

We recognise that academic excellence goes hand in hand with personal development. Our vibrant campus
offers opportunities for intellectual challenge, meaningful connection, and the self-discovery that shapes
the resilient, compassionate leaders of tomorrow.

May the stories, insights, and strategies within these pages inspire us all. Let’s continually renew our
dedication to student success, seeking out innovative practices and collaborations which ignite our
learners’ full potential. For in their accomplishments, we find our greatest reward and the true legacy of
        our work as educators.

How do YOU put student success at the centre of your work? Think back to a student whose transformation
inspired you. How can we create more of those moments through our teaching and support systems? So,
please share your strategies for inclusion, mentorship, or creating those ‘lightbulb’ moments – we’d love to
        feature them in future issues!
