 Abu Dhabi hosted the 9th International Society for Physical Activity and Health (ISPAH) Congress on Oct   In the presence and under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan Cabinet member
 23rd - 26th, 2022.  It is the largest of its kind in the world that brings together academics, practitioners,   and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, this conference is the largest event for rare disease in the

 below for the schedule and more info.  knowledge in presentations, symposiums, and workshops related to rare diseases in various clinical fields
        including cardiology, pulmonary, neurology, oncology, metabolic, endocrine, pediatrics, and genetics.
        The conference also emphasized on research achievements, and latest advancements in diagnostics and
        the rapeutics in rare diseases.

        Dr. Joanne Sadier delivered along with her student: Haneen Issa and Khadija Shafique, a workshop
        dedicated to the parents of children of rare diseases, to provide deep understanding of the fundamental
        concepts and practical aspects of conducting clinical trials. The workshop aims to equip attendees, with
        the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate clinical trials effectively and understand the pros and
        cons of their participation. The session was very informative, it contained case studies, and practical
        exercises that allowed participants to gain insights into the critical elements of clinical trial design, ethical
        considerations, data management, and regulatory compliance.

        Dr. Joanne Sadier delivered the opening talk for this conference where she highlighted the most updated
        current knowledge on rare diseases, their burden on the societies and governments, the advancement
        of the diagnostic tools in this field as well as the challenges that faces clinicians and researchers in
        finding cure and managing these diseases. She also was the moderator for the first opening session
        entitled: OPENING SESSION: RARE DISEASES AND THE VALUE OF INCLUSION
