Labs at Al Ain campus and Abu Dhabi campus

At Al-Ain and Abu Dhabi campus, new labs have been set up to facilitate hands on learning experience for
students studying in various programs. Fully functional state of the art labs including general lab, molecular
Biology lab, cell biology, special Chemistry and histology labs, nutritional assessment and kitchen labs,
environmental and safety labs are available to provide students with hands-on lab related experiences.
The labs are designed to allow undergraduate students gain practical knowledge on standard cellular,
molecular/genetic, biochemical, nutritional and environmental health and safety techniques. Instructors
are actively engaged in enhancing the knowledge base on scientific process and experimental designs to
enhance student interest in the respective field.
These laboratories also serve as a research hub to provides physical space to faculty and researchers from
different disciplines and backgrounds to collaborate on research projects. Students are encouraged to
work alongside experienced faculty members, gaining research related experience through mentorship.
