Undergraduate Research
Projects
Congratulations to our students who successfully conducted undergraduate research projects.
Undergraduate research projects were carried out by groups of graduating students under the supervision
of faculty with related experience. Relevant projects received IRB approval from Abu Dhabi University
before data collection and dissemination of results. The title of the projects and participating students
during the Spring semester (AY 20-21) are as follows:
1. Effectiveness of atezolizumab and cobimetinib in treating breast cancer: a meta-analysis

2. Perception and attitude of the ADU community toward personal protective equipment use and
disposal during COVID-19

3. Lifestyle behaviors in the era of Covid-19 vaccinations: A cross-sectional study in the UAE

4. Assessment of knowledge, attitude, and determinants of acceptance of a Covid-19 Vaccine in the UAE
population.
