Since the inception of the Smart Learning Center, we have been on an
exhilarating journey of growth and innovation. Our commitment to
enhancing faculty professional development has been unwavering.
Through the professional development sessions conducted each
semester, weekly workshops, and insights from guest speakers, we have
fostered an environment of continuous learning and improvement. A
special thank you to Dr. Mohamed Fteiha for his exceptional leadership,
guiding us through this transformative journey.

The Smart Learning Center has been at the forefront of numerous
digitization and automation initiatives. These include the Professional
Development Portal, Curriculum Management System, Academic
Advising, and various eLearning tools. These projects, spearheaded
by our dedicated departments - Student Affairs, Business Support and Facilities, and Information
Management, Technology and Support (IMTS) - reflect our holistic approach to technological
advancement.

We are particularly proud of the recent projects undertaken as part of Abu Dhabi University’s
digitization and automation endeavor. The digitization of the faculty appraisal system and the strategy
system have streamlined processes, making them more efficient and effective. The integration of
advanced tools like ChatGPT has revolutionized the way we approach content creation, assessment,
and feedback.

The Student Calling Project, another milestone, has significantly impacted student registration,
particularly among returning students. Additionally, the introduction of the AI-enabled research
tool, Scite.io, marks a new era in our research capabilities.

Looking ahead, the IMTS team is bustling with new projects, promising to bring more innovative
solutions to our university. The ERP team, not to be outdone, has successfully upgraded key solutions
and is now focused on enhancing the HR system among other projects.

These digital systems have been designed with you in mind - to support, facilitate, and enrich
