The Board of Editors and the Media and Communication Committee of the College of Health Sciences
(CoHS) are pleased to present the fourth edition of the CoHS e-Magazine. This edition highlights
the exceptional academic, research, and outreach accomplishments of our faculty, alumni, and
students, and offers a glimpse into the impactful initiatives driven by CoHS departments, including
the Department of Environmental and Public Health and the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
It reflects our enduring commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and the advancement of
knowledge in the field of health sciences.

This issue introduces our academic programs and distinguished faculty members, while also
showcasing our cutting-edge laboratories that provide an immersive learning experience. We
proudly highlight experiential learning initiatives such as internships, clinical rotations, field visits, and
placements, designed to strengthen professional skills and prepare students for real-world success.

The College also remains committed to community engagement and public health awareness,
involving faculty, students, and the broader community in meaningful outreach activities. Featured
in this issue are seminars and expert talks led by healthcare professionals that inspire learning and
dialogue on key health topics.

We are honored to feature newly established Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and partnerships
with prominent academic and healthcare institutions. These collaborations enhance opportunities for
research, academic exchange, and professional development for both students and faculty.

This edition also celebrates the research achievements of our faculty, alumni, and students. Their
contributions to high-impact publications and their participation in national and international
conferences reflect a thriving research culture within the College.

We hope this edition of the Abu Dhabi University College of Health Sciences Magazine offers valuable
insight into the year’s accomplishments. We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Sofyan Maghaydah,
Acting Dean of the College, for his visionary leadership and steadfast support in advancing our mission.
