Applications and software used by
ADU students and faculty
Blackboard: Blackboard is a website that allows you access to all your course materials, papers,
revision sheets, and exams. On the top right corner, you can click on the arrow next to your name to
check for any new notifications or recently added assigned grades.
Once you get accepted into the university, you will receive an email with
your student ID and a password. Go to https://idp.quicklaunchsso.com/
MyADU adu, type your information, and then change the password. You can use
the same ID and password for all ADU websites. From this site, you can
access your university email, blackboard, PeopleSoft, and ADUGroups.
Every student has their own unique Outlook email sponsored by the
Student Email university. This email is used to access all Microsoft applications (Microsoft
word, Excel, etc..) and receive important emails. Your email should look like
this: (studentID@student.adu.ac.ae).
Microsoft Teams is a video conference software used by ADU students and
Microsoft Teams faculty as the main source of communication. There, you will have your
online lessons if you are studying online, or find class recordings in case
you missed a class.
PeopleSoft is the website where all your academic information is stored.
PeopleSoft Through the self-service tab, you are able to pay pending fees, add or drop
classes, check your class schedule, apply for financial aid or scholarship,
keep up with your degree progress and attendance, and much more.
ADUgroups ADUGroups is a website that allows students to keep up with all the upcoming
events, as well as booking private tutoring sessions for any course.
