“ AFTER MONTHS OF HARD WORK, WE MADE IT HAPPEN “

recently organized an inspiring
event at Abu Dhabi University for
I my entrepreneurship classes of over
100 innovators. The event featured a
panel discussion with three exceptional
founders: Mudassir Sheikha, co-founder
of Careem; Toufic Kreidieh, co-founder
of Brands for Less Group; and Hadia
Ghaleb, co-founder of her own brand.
The panel was expertly moderated by
Nour Amache, a senior TV presenter at
Asharq with Bloomberg. This event was
designed to motivate my students to take
their entrepreneurial projects seriously.
It all started when I asked my class who
their favorite entrepreneur was, and I promised to bring them to campus. After months of hard work,
we made it happen. This successful event, alongside the ten minimum viable products my students
and I created throughout the semester, has sparked their enthusiasm to build their own startups. I hope

this event, along with future ones, will continue to inspire and drive them to innovate and succeed.
